Overview

About Creativity Assessment

How do you measure creativity? Traditional tests feel artificial, but games? Games reveal how people really think when they're having fun and solving problems.

Creativity Assessment turns the Physics Playground game into a creativity laboratory. As players design and test physics-based levels, our multimodal AI quietly observes every click, drag, and 'what if I try this?' moment. The system captures decision-making patterns, spatial reasoning approaches, and those brilliant moments when someone discovers an unexpected solution.

What makes this special is authenticity—we're not asking students to 'be creative' on command. We're watching them naturally express creativity while they're engaged in genuine problem-solving. For researchers, this opens up entirely new ways to study creative thinking. For educators, it provides insights into fostering innovation that traditional assessments simply can't match. Plus, who doesn't love the idea of assessing creativity through play?
