Natalia Martín is a Ph.D. student in Educational Technology at the School of Teaching and Learning, University of Florida, working under the supervision of Dr. Anthony Botelho. Born and raised in Argentina, she received a bachelor's degree in English as a Second Language Teaching at Universidad Nacional de Cuyo and a master's degree in Romance Languages with an emphasis in Spanish from the University of Missouri.
Her research focuses on language acquisition, gamified educational technology, student motivation, and life-long learning. Her research particularly focuses on studying and developing a technology-driven language teaching methodology to enhance university students' motivation to learn Spanish.
Outside the research world, Natalia enjoys exploring new cultures, enjoying a good book, or working on her plants!
