PhD Positions Available for Fall 2025

VIABLE Lab is recruiting 1-2 PhD students working with Dr. Anthony Botelho for Fall 2025 in Educational Technology at University of Florida.

Position Overview

The VIABLE Lab at University of Florida's College of Education is seeking 1-2 motivated PhD students to join our research team starting Fall 2025. Under the supervision of Dr. Anthony Botelho, students will engage in cutting-edge research at the intersection of learning sciences and artificial intelligence in the Educational Technology PhD program.

Qualifications

Strong candidates will have:

  • A Master's degree in education, computer science, learning sciences, or related fields
  • Strong research interests in educational technology and AI applications
  • Programming experience (Python, R, etc.) and data analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in research teams
